PRP / PRF FAQs
What is the difference between PRP and PRF?
Both use your blood’s growth factors. PRF is a newer form that contains more fibrin and releases growth factors more slowly for a longer effect; provider will recommend the best option for your goals.
How many sessions will I need?
For microneedling, a series of 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. For under-eye injections, 2–3 sessions may be suggested.
Is PRP/PRF safe?
Yes — because it uses your own blood, allergic reactions are extremely rare. Treatments are performed by trained providers in a sterile setting.
What is the downtime?
Expect mild redness or swelling for 24–48 hours; most clients resume normal activities the next day.
